Founded in 2007 by Jürg Rohner in the heart of Zurich's District 5, in the former Steinfels soap factory, Citizen Space Zurich still exudes the same incomparable charm it always has. Our headquarters at Heinrichstrasse 267 has grown steadily since 2007 and, as of 2026, covers more than 1800 m² – most of it on a single floor.

True to our motto “Design meets Retro”, Citizen Space has an atmosphere like no other. From Vitra and Le Corbusier designer furniture and Elektra barista coffee machines to beautiful original tavern tables, Citizen Space Zurich – set in the former industrial halls of the Steinfels soap factory – offers every guest a unique treat for the eyes and the palate.
